
Kamloops police seek three suspects in bear spray incident
Kamloops RCMP are investigating a possible bear spray attack.
Police were called to the 200 block of Victoria Street West, Feb. 6, at around 8 p.m., according to an RCMP media release. Officers observed an orange residue on the building’s foyer wall and floor, and people in the building were having difficulty breathing.
Police looked at surveillance video and observed three men approach the entrance around 7:36 p.m. One of the men released a spray before all three fled.
Two of the men wore dark clothing and appeared to have their hoods up. One carried two bags, one dark and the other orange.
A suspect who fled on a red bike appeared to be a Caucasian male wearing a yellow or bright green camo jacket.
Anyone who might know the suspects, or who might have information related to this incident, is asked to call Kamloops RCMP and quote file number 2021-4059.
