Penticton ticket beat the odds and hit $75 million lottery jackpot

Someone bought a lottery ticket in Penticton and hopefully they kept it since it’s worth $75 million.

Last night a Lotto Max ticket hit the winning numbers, 3, 8, 15, 19, 23, 29 and 37, but the winner has yet to come forward to claim their prize, according to a press release from BCLC.

The odds of winning a Lotto Max jackpot are one in 33,294,800 per $5 play.

Lottery winners have 52 weeks from the draw date to come forward and collect their prize.

This $75 million win is one of the largest ever in B.C. with the biggest jackpot reaching $80 million in May 2025.

BCLC will announce who the winner is and where they bought the ticket once they collect the money.

So far this year B.C. lottery players have collected more than $25 million in winnings from Lotto Max.
