RICHMOND — Police in Richmond, B.C., say they’re investigating a possible kidnapping after a man was reportedly seen being forced into a truck in a restaurant parking lot Friday night.
Richmond RCMP say they were called after a witness reported seeing two men force another man into a pickup truck just after 10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Bamboo Grove Restaurant on No. 3 Road.
Mounties say they viewed surveillance footage from the area, which showed a dark Ford F-150 may have been involved.
Police say officers from the serious crime unit are now investigating.
They say they’re now asking to hear from potential witnesses who may have been in the area at the time.
Richmond RCMP say anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity, or people with dash camera footage or security video, should contact investigators.
