A boat deserves a name, and some people selling their used boats at the Kelowna Boat Show over the weekend have some good ones.

The Kelowna Boat Show attracted hundreds of seafaring folk to the Kelowna Yacht Club on April 25 and 26, with dozens of exhibitors and numerous used boats for sale. Some of those boat names were good examples of their owners’ creativity. 

A pleasure craft doesn’t need to have a name, boat owners just need to put the license number in a visible location. The only boats that need a name are vessels registered through Transport Canada. 

But naming your boat is definitely fun. 

Here are some solid names from the event this weekend:
