Homicide probe begins after two bodies found in semi-rural part of Langley, B.C.

LANGLEY — Homicide investigators have been called to a semi-rural neighbourhood in Langley, B.C., where two people have been found dead.

RCMP say officers were called to the 21,000-block of 16 Avenue at 11:16 a.m. on Monday after a report of a “suspicious incident.”

First responders from the RCMP, the Township of Langley Fire Department, and BC Ambulance Services found two people dead.

The scene has been taped off and police say drivers should expect traffic delays in the area, which is home to wineries, stables and farms.

Sgt. Zynal Sharoom with Langley RCMP says IHIT has been called in, although the investigation is still in its early stages.
