Corrective to May 1 story about proposed ban on energy drinks for children under 16

In a story that moved on May 1, about calls for a ban in Quebec on energy drinks for children under 16, The Canadian Press erroneously reported that the federal government had previously updated regulations about cautionary labels on energy drinks in 2024. In fact, the government had introduced the new regulations in 2022.
