SURREY — Police in Surrey, B.C., say they have identified two suspects in an alleged attack on an eight-year-old boy in a haunted house attraction during the city’s Khalsa Day celebrations.
Surrey police did not release details on the two male suspects but thanked the public for assistance identifying them.
Police say the alleged incident happened inside the Kreepy Kastle attraction in the parking lot of a gurdwara on 85 Avenue on April 19 at about 5 p.m.
They say the boy escaped and alerted others, but suffered neck injuries that required hospital treatment.
Investigators previously said the suspects were not believed to be carnival staff.
No further details on the circumstances surrounding the attack have been released.
