Cause of fatal Keremeos house fire under investigation: RCMP

RCMP investigators are looking for the cause a house fire in Keremeos Tuesday that claimed a person’s life.

A person was located deceased in the home in the Upper Bench Road area following a fire that started at around 3 p.m., May 12.

“The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time, with investigators working to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident,” reads an RCMP media release.

RCMP say no further information will be provided to the public.
