Music ‘dealmaker’ Jack Wishna, tied to Michael Jackson, found dead in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – A dealmaker who helped bring Donald Trump to Sin City, courted Michael Jackson for a casino residency and consulted for Treasure Island owner Phil Ruffin has been found dead at his home in Las Vegas.

A spokesman for Jack Wishna’s latest project, RockCityClub.com, says Wishna was found dead Tuesday. He was 54.

The circumstances surrounding his death were not immediately clear Wednesday morning.

Wilinsky says Wishna had been developing a website for musicians and their fans at the time of his death.

Wishna is credited with bringing Trump and Ruffin together to build the Trump International Tower in Las Vegas.

He tried to bring Jackson to the Strip in the mid-2000s and worked to establish a Michael Jackson-themed Cirque du Soleil production after the singer’s death. Both efforts failed.
