Jets Zach Bogosian skates this week for first time since wrist surgery

WINNIPEG – After his first ice time since August, Winnipeg Jets defenceman Zach Bogosian isn’t sure when he’ll be ready to return after wrist surgery.

Bogosian was one of a handful of injured NHL players who collected a paycheque during the NHL lockout.

He’s taking it easy and hopes to be back for the team’s lockout-shortened second season in Winnipeg, but isn’t sure when.

At least he says he’ll be able to practice with other players.

He says it was a bit lonely being one of the few players on the payroll and therefore able to use team facilities.

Even Monday he practised separately from locked out players, but that will end when the new deal is ratified and camp starts.
