VANCOUVER – Geroy Simon’s 12-year run with the B.C. Lions is over.
The CFL team is sending him to the Saskatchewan Roughriders for receiver Justin Harper and a third-round pick in the 2014 Canadian college draft.
Simon is the CFL’s all-time leading receiver with almost 16,000 yards.
The 14-year veteran also has 100 career receiving touchdowns, good for third spot on the league’s all-time list.
Simon is a six-time all-star and two-time Grey Cup champion who had 54 catches for 700 yards last season.
