Ford Canada sales up 5.4% in February; sales up 6.8 per cent in first two months

Ford Canada has reported a 5.4 per cent increase in vehicle sales in February compared with the same month last year.

Ford says it sold 16,301 cars and light trucks last month, up from 15,461 in February 2012.

That brought the company’s two-month total to 32,498 vehicles, up 6.8 per cent from the 30,439 vehicles it sold in January and February last year.

Ford says the totals included 3,742 cars and 12,559 trucks, with Ford saying it remains the Canadian leader in truck sales.
