Collision between Greyhound bus and car in B.C. southern interior

CACHE CREEK, B.C. – It’s believed one person was killed while five others suffered minor injuries in a collision between a car and a Greyhound bus near Cache Creek, B.C. Friday.

A witness says the car burst into flames after the crash on the Trans-Canada Highway, and it appears the driver could not get out.

The witness says the car was left a burning hulk by the side of the road.

BC Ambulance spokeswoman Kelsie Carwithen says five people suffered minor injuries and were being taken to Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.

The crash forced the closure of the highway. (CFJC,CHNL)
