Winnipeg Jets players say goodbye after missing the NHL playoffs, again

WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Jets said their goodbyes today after missing the playoffs again.

Coach Claude Noel says he thinks they could have made the playoffs last season and this season.

Captain Andrew Ladd says he expects changes to the team.

But no one knows what those might be.

Noel says he was pleased in the growth of many young players such as Evander Kane.

The Jets were eliminated Thursday night when both Ottawa and the New York Rangers won and then Winnipeg sealed the deal by losing to Montreal.
