Leafs look to feed off ACC crowd as playoff hockey returns to Toronto

TORONTO – The Leafs are expecting a wild reception as playoff hockey returns to Toronto for the first time since 2004.

But to a man, they say they have to focus on the job still to be done on the ice. The Leafs and Bruins are tied one game apiece in their best-of-seven series.

Still Leafs centre Nazem Kadri says the Air Canada Centre crowd serves as an adrenalin boost. He says it gives him a “whole different gear.”

Kadri maintains the Leafs are calmer and more composed than in Game 1, which they lost 4-1.

Toronto rallied to defeat the Bruins 4-2 in Game 2 in Boston on the weekend.
