Is time running out on the Leafs? Clocks in dressing room aren’t helping cause

TORONTO – As if the Leafs don’t have enough on their plate facing the Bruins, the clocks in their dressing room malfunctioned Tuesday.

They were off by six minutes, meaning some players arrived on the ice for practice late.

The stragglers were greeted with some good-natured derision from teammates who made it on time.

Toronto coach Randy Carlyle saw it as a chance to lighten the mood, after Monday night’s 5-2 loss to Boston.

The teams face off in Game 4 on Wednesday night. The Bruins lead the best-of-seven series two games to one.
