Art Gallery of Nova Scotia says north building to stay closed until end of June

HALIFAX – The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia says its Gallery North building will remain closed to the public until the end of June as crews continue repairs on its sprinkler system.

The building in downtown Halifax was shut down May 7 after the Office of the Fire Marshal ordered the gallery to fix the sprinklers.

None of the collections in the building were damaged.

The gallery is the largest art museum in Atlantic Canada.
