Dallas Green gets his own beer care of Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery

TORONTO – It might be your best shot at swigging a beer with Dallas Green.

The singer/songwriter has teamed with Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery to create “City and Colour Imperial Maple Wheat Ale.”

The beer — described in a press release as “sultry” and “thick” — was brewed with maple syrup and infused with Bourbon vanilla pods.

The resultant mix comes in at 11.5 per cent alcohol by volume.

The new beer will be a limited edition item available at the brewery, LCBO locations in Ontario, and in Western Canada at the end of June.

The multiple Juno winner Green released his fourth album under the City and Colour moniker, “The Hurry and the Harm,” earlier this week.
