Back to business: Blackhawks, Bruins prepare for Game 2 of Stanley Cup final
CHICAGO – The Chicago Blackhawks are gearing up for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup final after a welcome day off.
Less than 36 hours after their triple-overtime victory over the Boston Bruins, the Blackhawks were back on the ice at United Center. Their Game 2 lineup is expected to include the same players and the lines that finished Game 1.
Brandon Saad skated on Chicago’s top line with Jonathan Toews and Marian Hossa, and Viktor Stalberg was the odd man out again.
The Bruins are scheduled to practice later, and it remains to be seen if right-winger Nathan Horton will skate after leaving Game 1 with an injury.
Boston coach Claude Julien said Horton was “day-to-day.”
