Psy, Swift, Lovato, Lavigne to appear at tonight’s MuchMusic Video Awards
TORONTO – South Korean rapper Psy is trotting full-steam ahead into tonight’s MuchMusic Video Awards.
The “Gangnam Style” hitmaker will perform that song as well as his new single “Gentleman” in addition to co-hosting the streetside bash.
The show also promises performances from Avril Lavigne, Ed Sheeran and former Disney star Demi Lovato.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift will present an award while TV stars Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, Stephen Amell and Kunal Nayyar will also appear.
Marianas Trench lead with six nominations heading into the telecast, and the Vancouver pop outfit can always be counted on for an eye-catching red-carpet arrival.
Toronto rapper Drake is next with five nods while Enfield, N.S., product Classified enters the show with four nominations.
