Some Molson Canadian Cider recalled due to glass fragments in bottles

OTTAWA – Some bottles of Molson Canadian Cider are being recalled because they may contain fragments of glass.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the bottles, in the 341 millilitre size, are sold in Ontario and Nova Scotia.

The agency says there are no reported injuries linked to the affected beverage.

The distributor, Toronto-based Molson Coors Canada, is voluntarily recalling the product and the CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.

The affected cider is sold in individual bottles with a UPC code of 0-56327-00866-3 and in a six-pack with a UPC code of 0-56327-00824-3.
