Banged-up Bombers skip practice and Terrell Parker out for season

WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have lost linebacker Terrell Parker for the rest of the season with a torn knee ligament.

The banged up team skipped practice Monday after their 25-20 loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Saturday.

Coach Tim Burke says defensive back Desia Dunn will miss at least two weeks with a hamstring injury.

But Johnny Sears is finally ready to return to action.

Receiver Chris Matthews, running back Anthony Woodson, defensive back Alex Suber, defensive end Alex Hall and offensive lineman Glenn January will all skip practice when it resumes Tuesday.

Burke says the team has a lot of work to do to fix a broken offence before the Toronto Argonauts arrive Friday.
