Merrick early clubhouse leader at 2nd round of Canadian Open after tying record
OAKVILLE, Ont. – John Merrick is the early clubhouse leader at the RBC Canadian Open after tying a course record with a 10-under 62 performance.
The Long Beach, Calif., native is now 11 under at the US$5.6-million PGA Tour stop.
Merrick tied Greg Norman’s 10-under 62 performance at the par-72, 7,253-yard Glen Abbey Golf Course.
Norman set the record in 1986.
Play will continue through the afternoon.
