BERLIN – Police say three people are dead and five wounded following a shooting in southern Germany.
According to police, the shooting occurred Tuesday evening during a meeting of property owners in a restaurant in the village of Dossenheim near Heidelberg.
A police statement said that during the meeting heated words were exchanged and one man stormed out.
He returned later with a pistol and opened fire, killing two men and wounding five others before fatally shooting himself, according to the statement.
The five wounded were rushed to the hospital, where one was reported in serious condition.
