Officials say boy dead after hit by school bus in St. Albert, Alta.
ST. ALBERT, Alta. – A child is dead after being struck by a school bus in the Edmonton-area community of St. Albert.
RCMP say the bus hit the six-year-old boy while he was walking crossing a street.
The Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools District says the boy’s family has been notified.
Officials say students who attend Ecole Marie Poburan School will be sent home with a note regarding what happened.
A support team is also at the school to help students.
The boy was in the second grade. (CHED)
