PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia captain Claude Giroux ended his 21-game drought and Jay Rosehill, Scott Hartnell and Vinny Lecavalier each scored in a 4-2 win over Edmonton on Saturday.
David Perron and Taylor Hall scored for the Oilers.
The game featured the league’s worst offence (Flyers) versus its worst defence (Oilers). The Flyers scored more than two goals in a game for just the second time this season.
It’s Philadelphia’s first win at the Wells Fargo Center since Oct. 24 against the New York Rangers and ended a stretch of 175:16 without a goal at home.
Flyers’ goalie Steve Mason finished with 32 saves.
