Browns say they are looking into incriminating photos posted on Davone Bess’ Twitter account

CLEVELAND – The Browns say they are aware of potentially incriminating photos posted by wide receiver Davone Bess on his Twitter account.

Bess, who missed Cleveland’s final two games for personal reasons, posted a photo on Thursday of a small package containing what appears to be marijuana. Some of the substance is out of the bag and on a table. Last month, a photo posted on Bess’ Instagram account showed him sitting on an outdoor deck and lighting a cigar or cigarette next to a picture of reggae legend Bob Marley and a Rastafarian flag draped around the wide receivers’s shoulders.

A Browns spokesman said the team knows about the photos and is “looking further into the situation.”

Bess finished with career-lows in catches (42) and yards (362) last season.
