BURNABY — Delaney Baie Pridham scored twice in the second half, including on a penalty shot in the 74th minute, to lift the visiting Ottawa Rapid to a 3-1 Northern Super League win over the Vancouver Rise on Sunday at Swangard Stadium.
Lee Min-a opened the scoring for Ottawa (5-2-0) in the 28th minute, before Vancouver’s (3-4-0) Jessica De Filippo tied the match with a goal in the 43rd minute.
Ottawa held an advantage in ball possession (54 per cent to 46) and while the visitors were outshot 20-12, they had more on-target shots (5-3).
The Rise had more corners (4-3) and took the game’s only yellow card and red card, to Vancouver’s Kennedy Faulknor in the 72nd minute.
