A look at where the royals are going Saturday

VICTORIA – Here are details of the royal tour for Saturday by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge after they arrive in Victoria:

— Prince William and his wife Kate will lay a wreath at the cenotaph and unveil a new plaque commemorating Canada’s military involvement in Afghanistan during an official welcoming ceremony at the B.C. legislature, which will also feature a welcome dance performed by the Lekwungen Traditional Dancers from the nearby Songhees Nation. Military honours include a 21-gun salute and an inspection of the honour guard. Prince William is also expected to address Canadians during the ceremony.

— After the ceremony, the duke and duchess will receive Gov.-Gen. David Johnston and his wife Sharon Johnston. The royal couple will also receive Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau.
