Rock the Lake turns up the volume

One of Kelowna’s favourite music festivals is returning on Friday, July 10, 11, and 12. Rock the Lake is back with a whole new lineup of bands, vendors, and events. Headlining the show this year is Alexisonfire, a Canadian post-hardcore band originally from St. Catharines, Ontario.

  • Friday: April Wine, Glass Tiger, and the Hip Replacements
  • Saturday: Alexisonfire, Finger Eleven, Classified, and Freeze the Fall
  • Sunday: Cameron Whitcomb, Default, Hailey Benedict, and Rise Overrun

On top of the bands performing, there will be plenty of vendors and food trucks available to keep you going at the festival market. From tattoos to wine sipping, you’ll find a weekend packed with good times.

Rock the Lake is currently in its 9th year running, having originally started in 2016. Hosted beside Prospera Place in the parking lot, the downtown festival brings a huge influx to the downtown core. The festival celebrates the Rock Genre in all forms and has brought a wave of both new and old this summer.
