SUNSHINE COAST — Police in British Columbia are asking for the public’s help after a missing person’s vehicle was abandoned on a BC Ferries vessel.
RCMP say Joyelle Goldbard’s orange Subaru was found unclaimed on the 2:35 p.m. ferry sailing on Thursday on the trip from Langdale to Horseshoe Bay in Metro Vancouver.
Police say no one fitting Goldbard’s description was identified upon the ferry’s arrival into Horseshoe Bay, and family members are very worried about their well-being.
Goldbard’s wallet, personal belongings and cellphone were all found inside the abandoned vehicle.
The missing 51-year-old resident of Roberts Creek had previously gone by the name of Kristi Brandt.
Police say Goldbard has several tattoos, including a phoenix on the back of their neck and a full sleeve on their left arm, and anyone with information should contact RCMP.
