iN NUMBERS: Okanagan, Kamloops real estate listings down for June

There are far fewer homes on the market in Kamloops and the Okanagan than there were last year.

The benchmark price of a single family home hasn’t shifted but it’s slim pickings out there for home buyers.

Here are the numbers from the Association of Interior Realtors:

  • 424: Single family homes were listed for sale in the Central Okanagan in June, down 21 per cent from June 2025.
  • 218: That’s how many single family homes sold in Central Okanagan in June, up by 5.3 per cent from June last year.
  • 1: Million dollars. That was the benchmark price for a single family home in Central Okanagan in June, down 3.6 per cent from June last year.
  • 129: Single family homes were listed for sale in North Okanagan in June, down 24 per cent from June 2025.
  • 95: That’s how many single family homes sold in North Okanagan in June, up by eight per cent from June last year.
  • 784,500: Dollars. That’s the benchmark price for a single family home in North Okanagan in June, pretty much the same as June last year.
  • 139: Single family homes were listed for sale in South Okanagan in June, down 28 per cent from June last year.
  • 78: That’s how many single family homes sold in South Okanagan in June, down 11.4 per cent from June.
  • 760,100: Dollars. That’s the benchmark price for a single family home in South Okanagan, around the same as last year.
  • 284: Single family homes were listed for sale in Kamloops in June, down 2.7 per cent from June last year.
  • 134: That’s how many single family homes sold in Kamloops in June, down 14.7 per cent from June last year.
  • 684,300: Dollars. That’s the benchmark price for a single family home in Kamloops, up by 1.2 per cent compared to last year.
