It appears almost anything anyone could want or need is available for sale or free on Facebook Marketplace, where residents can post their wares for shoppers near and far.

The online platform allows shoppers to browse through seemingly never-ending items that includes footwear, clothing, furniture, children’s toys and even food. There are houses and room rentals posted, vehicles and sports equipment, the odd wanted ad and all kinds of vintage items.

Some of the items posted in the Thompson-Okanagan region stand out as a little more peculiar than others. There are several unusual items currently up for sale including an old fire hydrant, a mannequin head and worms.
