UPDATE: Highway 33 reopens near Kelowna following accident

Highway 33 has reopened near Kelowna after an accident involving a logging truck this morning.

On March 31, at roughly 8:45 a.m. DriveBC reported a vehicle incident along the highway four kilometres south of Kelowna.

Images shared on social media show a long lineup of cars with a logging truck and logs on the side of the highway.

The highway was closed in both directions between Daves Road and Goudie Road but has since reopened, according to DriveBC.
