The Kelowna Community Market was a great success for aspiring new vendors this past weekend. Cute as a Button Events were caught off guard by how much summer foot traffic came through the market on Bernard Ave. Great weather and a cool lake breeze made Saturday afternoon a great experience.
Cute as a Button Events plans to expand after seeing how great a turnout it was. They hope to bring more vendors, food, and entertainment for their August 8 event at the same location. Many of the vendors were very happy and will have a brand-new selection to check out. This is the first time that the city has allowed a flea market-like experience in the downtown core with opportunities for people to try selling niche collectibles or lightly loved clothing.
