TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled two relievers from triple-A Buffalo.
Right-hander Lazaro Estrada and left-hander Brendon Little both were made active for Saturday’s game against the Chicago White Sox.
In corresponding moves, Canadian left-hander Adam Macko and right-hander CJ Van Eyk were optioned to Buffalo.
Little has a 27.00 earned-run average in six big league appearances this season, surrendering 14 earned runs in 4 2/3 innings with seven strikeouts and six walks.
However, he had a 2.53 ERA with 46 strikeouts, nine earned runs and 25 walks in 32 innings in Buffalo.
Estrada, on the other hand, has a 2.84 ERA in just two games at the MLB level and a 3.00 ERA in eight triple-A outings.
