Penticton Ribfest

The ribbers are back in Penticton with new and returning award-winning vendors showcasing their BBQ ribs. Enjoy kids’ games, a vendor village, food/drink vendors, live music, and vote for your favourite ribs after you’ve attended the event!

Let’s Make a Landmark at Lakeline Gallery

The Lakeline Gallery is painting a mural on the side of their building and wants the community to help with contributing brush strokes to the communally painted piece. Meet local artists and help create a beautiful mural for Penticton.

Outdoor Roller Rink in Gyro Park

Roller Skate with friends or family while listening to music at the Penticton Outdoor Rink beside Gyro Park. $2 Rentals will be available from Penticton Roller Skate Company. Free if you have your own. Limited protective equipment is available; bring your own if you can.

Penticton Downtown Community Market

Running every Saturday, the market is one of the Okanagan’s biggest markets spanning multiple blocks on Main Street.

Hundreds of vendors who feature handmade goods, including clothing, food and jewellery, collectibles, antiques, and furniture, as well as the weekly food vendors, live music and entertainment that combine to create a fabulous warm vibe.

KELOWNA & AREA

BC Summer Games

Across Kelowna, the BC Summer Games will be taking place from July 23 to July 26. Competitors will compete in a range of different summer competitions in parks, fields, pools, and on the lake. Competitions are free to watch in person.

Come watch your favourite summer sport and cheer on the competition.

Daylight Disco – Red Bird Brewing

Powered by local love and built around connection, Daylight Disco is a feel-good daytime party designed to bring people together through music, energy, and shared experiences.

For six hours, the brewery will be filled with house music, art, wellness activations, local vendors, food, drinks, and hundreds of people celebrating summer in the heart of the Okanagan.

Music in the Mountains

Enjoy incredible performances surrounded by panoramic mountain views, fresh alpine air, and the unmistakable Big White summer vibe. This isn’t your typical concert — getting there is part of the adventure.

This event does require a 1.5km hike and chairlift ride. Bring a chair or blanket, snacks, weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen and good walking shoes.

Okanagan Dream Car Rally

The Okanagan Dream Rally is a biennial charity car rally in Kelowna, BC, created to support children and youth in need while raising funds for local causes.

“Co-Pilots” are thoughtfully paired with volunteer drivers and experience an unforgettable day riding as a passenger in some of the world’s most incredible dream cars.

Caravan Theatre – Voice of the Valley

Music at Mackie Presents West My Friend

Steeped in the visual styles of western Canada, West My Friend are veterans of the Victoria music scene and recently released their Independent Music Awards-nominated fourth album “In Constellation”.

On this latest work, the band continues to refine the art of creating achingly poignant folk music, only this time, they’re backed by a full symphony orchestra, heavily layered while remaining lighthearted. Intricate yet accessible. Melancholic yet optimistic.

Hosted in the backyard of the historic Mackie Lake House just off Kalamaka Lake in Coldstream, the performance is part of Music at Mackie, a concert series happening over the summer.

Downtown Night Market

Downtown will ignite with a Night Market for all ages. The Night Market is the perfect evening to explore local vendors, enjoy some live entertainment, and play some games.

Kamloops International Buskers Festival

Kamloops welcomes the world to beautiful Riverside Park! Professional street performers from the local region, across Canada, and around the world will converge for the 7th annual Kamloops International Buskers Festival.

The Janzen Boys + The Redwood Twins Live at The Paramount Theatre

The Janzen Boys have been playing music together since the very beginning, but it started as “The Janzen Boys” shortly after they moved back to Canada from Japan in 2012.

They’re a rootsy, harmony-singing folk trio from Winnipeg, Manitoba, consisting of brothers Simon and Mick, and father JJ.

Performing at the Paramount Theatre with opening duo The Redwood Twins from Vancouver Island.
