Man charged with second-degree murder after body found in Creston, B.C.

CRESTON — A man has been arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder after a body was found in Creston, in southeastern B.C.

RCMP say charges have been laid in the death of Larry John Isaac, a Creston resident whose body was discovered by police on Thursday.

Police say the circumstances of Isaac’s death were suspicious and the major crime unit was alerted.

Twenty-seven-year-old Parker Hills was arrested on the same day and now faces a second-degree murder charge.

Police are appealing for those who saw Isaac that day to come forward as the investigation is ongoing.

They say Hills will remain in custody awaiting court proceedings.
