Three-year-old child dies after being injured by vehicle in Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – Prince George RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating the death of a three-year-old child.

Mounties say the child was seriously injured by a vehicle in a residential neighbourhood on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency services responded to the area near Massey Boulevard and Ospika Boulevard just before 12:30 p.m.

The child was transported to hospital but died as a result of injuries from the collision.

Officers say the investigation is in its early stages.
