The sound of live music will once again fill Riverside Park this summer as Music in the Park returns, bringing free evening concerts to the heart of Kamloops.

Held throughout the summer at the Riverside Park Rotary Bandshell, the long-running concert series invites residents and visitors to enjoy performances by local and touring musicians in one of the city’s most scenic outdoor settings. Organized by the Kamloops Arts Council, Music in the Park has become a beloved summer tradition that showcases a wide variety of musical styles while bringing the community together.

Each evening offers something different, with performances ranging from rock, country and folk to jazz, blues, pop and multicultural music. Families can spread out blankets on the lawn, friends can gather for a picnic, and visitors can relax by the river while enjoying live entertainment in a welcoming atmosphere.

Friday, July 31: The Guess Hooligans, featuring a former guitarist from The Guess Who
Saturday, Aug. 1: Hickory Biscuit, performing ’90s pop and R&B
Sunday, Aug. 2: Robert Connelly Jr., performing blues
Monday, Aug. 3: Rube Band, known as the Ambassadors of Fun

More than just a concert series, Music in the Park celebrates Kamloops’ vibrant arts community by providing local musicians with an opportunity to perform for audiences throughout the summer.
