Armstrong prepares again to welcome one of its most anticipated annual traditions, celebrating agriculture, food, and family fun and entertainment. The Interior Provincial Exhibition is a favourite for many Okanagan residents, and each year brings a wide range of activities. Happening over the Labour Day long weekend each year, the IPE will run from September 2-6, 2026. There is plenty to see and plenty to do each year, with something for everyone to enjoy.

If rides and games are your thing, West Coast Amusements will be there with some of your favourite rides. Some scary and some not-so-scary for all age groups to enjoy. West Coast Amusements is one of Canada’s largest travelling amusement parks and will have ride tickets and wristbands available on the day you wish to visit. Game and food stalls will also be set up to win prizes or dig into some yummy treats while attending.

If you want to see some animals, the IPE is always one of the best chances to see a great range of animals including Pigs, Sheep, Dogs, Goats, Chickens, Cows, Horses, and plenty of other critters you can find on a farm. Many of the barns on site and arenas will have a variety of showcases, demonstrations, and competitions available throughout the week, with different animals being highlighted on each day.
Looking to do some shopping? Vendors will also be set up selling a wide range of goods and services both inside and outside. Shop tons of clothing, jewelry, handmade goods, baking, art, and support local businesses bringing their best to their booths. A dedicated market area will have you excited to explore what businesses have to offer.
Daily entertainment includes Lumberjack Shows, Wood Carving, Rodeo, Line Dancing, Gold Panning, Farmer Olympics, Karaoke, and live music! Each day has a full schedule of events from morning to dusk, so no matter what time you arrive, there’ll be something going on!

A parade will be taking place Saturday, September 5, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM. This year’s theme is all things photography and celebrating the landmark of 125 years.
The Interior Provincial Exhibition opens its doors at 8 am daily, with rides starting at 11 am.
A full, detailed schedule for each day can be found on the IPE website here.
