The Penticton Night Market had a strong run this summer, with a variety of fun food trucks, music from many locals, and a wide range of vendors each week. This year was the first year for the organizers to get the market up and running in June, and they are currently in the final stretch for the season, with September 18, 2026, being the last day of the season.
Penticton has held night markets before in the past, but they have come and gone with different organizers and efforts within the community. Many of the vendors will be moving on to other fall festivals and markets, but the Penticton Night Market does plan to return next year.
This week, musical guest Matt Ryan performed a mix of original songs and covers as guests danced the night away. The night was a little quiet, as many of the tourists of the season have gone home already with the cooler weather, but overall the event still had people coming out and supporting local businesses.
