Kelowna gathers teams in support of Motionball 2026 and Special Olympics Athletes

Teams of 10 are gearing up for a great opportunity to get involved and raise money with the Motionball Marathon of Sport Kelowna on Saturday, September 19. Raising money for the Special Olympics Canada Foundation each year, teams are paired up with 1-2 additional local Special Olympics athletes and play a variety of sports and activities throughout the day, including football, ultimate, bocce, and benchball. The games run from 9 am to 5 pm and are being hosted in Kelowna’s City Park.

Stop by to cheer on your favourite teams, with live music and entertainment throughout the day. There will be opportunities to connect and learn more about the Special Olympics Canada Foundation, Motionball, and get involved with the community.
