GATINEAU — The Montreal Canadiens have signed Zachary Bolduc to a four-year contract, the NHL club announced Sunday.

The average annual value of the deal is US$4.2 million.

Bolduc had 12 goals and 18 assists in 78 regular-season games in 2025-26. He also led all Montreal forwards with 170 hits, ranking second on the team behind defenceman Arber Xhekaj.

The 23-year-old from Trois-Rivières, Que., also dressed for the team’s 19 playoff games, producing seven points (three goals, four assists) and being second on the team with 47 hits.

He was traded to Montreal on July 1, 2025, by the St. Louis Blues.

Bolduc was a first-round pick (17th overall) by the Blues in the 2021 NHL draft. He has 75 points (36 goals, 39 assists) in 175 career games across three seasons between St. Louis and Montreal.
