Mexico’s Isaac del Toro wins Grand Prix Cycliste de Montreal, Canada’s Woods 18th

MONTREAL — Mexico’s Isaac del Toro placed first in the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montreal on Sunday.

He finished with a time of five hours 13 minutes 16 seconds.

Ottawa’s Michael Woods finished 18th.

Woods retired from professional road cycling earlier in 2026.

However, the 39-year-old came out of retirement just ahead of the road cycling world championships.

The world championships are set to take place in Montreal on Sept. 27.
