The 33rd annual Lake Country ArtWalk had a successful weekend at its new location in Lake Country. The festival invited locals to celebrate art and music in the newly developed Lake Country Community Centre that is still in phase one of development. Guests were able to have a sneak peek at what the building is going to be capable of hosting for future community events and got to see a ton of great local art on display and for sale.
The festival brought many local Okanagan artists out with art for sale, demonstrations, silent auctions, live music, and opportunities to meet and connect with other artists. A wide variety of mediums, styles, and creative minds filled the two-day festival, with food trucks and activities for kids.
From exploring the new building to discovering a new artist in the community, the festival drew large crowds as they roamed the building, seeing all the talented artwork brought to the festival.
Artist registration for next year opens from March 1, 2027 through May 1, 2027. Applications can be found at a later date on their website here.
