Nine drug trafficking suspects arrested in Vernon

Nine drug trafficking suspects were arrested at a home in Vernon on Monday.

Officers with the heavily-armed Emergency Response Team and local members executed a search warrant at approximately 2:20 p.m., Sept. 21, at a home in the 3900 block of 24 Avenue, according to an RCMP media release.

RCMP said the warrant was part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking in Vernon.

Along with the arrest of nine suspects at the home during the raid, police seized fentanyl, cocaine, a firearm and cash.

All nine people arrested were released from custody as the investigation continues.
