Queerdo: A Drag Competition at the Luso Centre

Eight incredible drag artists from across BC will compete in three categories, including Runway, a Q&A section, and an original showstopping number. The night culminates in a top-two lip-sync showdown, where the winner takes home a crown, cash, aesthetic & mental health care packages, and more courtesy of local sponsors. Plus, the fan-favourite “Khongeniality” award (voted on by the cast) goes to the kindest, kookiest competitor.

The 81st Anniversary Gala is now An Evening Anchored in Hope. Join the Kiwanis Club of Penticton and enjoy a plated dinner and cash bar as we come together to support families rebuilding after the wildfires. All proceeds go directly toward helping Summerland rebuild.

Sunday Sessions: Ari Neufeld at The Hub on Martin

Ari Neufeld is a Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and self-made one-man band whose energetic performances are anything but ordinary. A longtime Okanagan musician, Ari has spent years developing a unique approach to live music that combines guitar, piano, banjo, vocals and an array of percussive sounds, creating the feel of a full band with just one performer.

Argus Apple Marathon

Join runners from across the country at the Argus Apple Marathon, a signature fall running event in the heart of the Okanagan. Held annually in September, this scenic race features a certified marathon, half marathon, 8K, and 1.6K kids’ fun run. The fast, flat course starts and finishes in downtown Kelowna’s City Park, winding along beautiful lakeside trails and city streets. Perfect for seasoned athletes and first-time runners alike!

As Okanagan vineyards turn gold beneath the harvest moon, OCCA Communities Association is inviting the community to celebrate its free, family-friendly 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival. Where The Wild Things Are presented by Western Canada Theatre

Maurice Sendak’s renowned children’s book comes to life in this energetic, interactive story. Young audiences get to follow Max on his grand adventure, discover their own inner “Wild Thing,” and take part in a “wild rumpus,” before it’s time to help Max return home to a warm supper and a warm bed. The play encourages children to be brave with their imaginations and their emotions, and to remember how to find their way back to safety when it’s time.

The Children’s Arts Festival (CAF) is a hands-on celebration of creativity, imagination, and community spirit, and FREE to the public! This annual event brings together artists, performers, and local organizations, providing a full day of interactive art experiences specially curated for children and families. The festival offers activities such as art stations, workshops, live performances, ans storytelling. All of these aim to spark joy and foster a love for the arts in our youngest community members.

KAMCON 2026
