One of the most iconic price-guessing game shows is about to “Come on Down” to the Kelowna Community Theatre with tons of prizes to be won for some lucky ticket holders. The Price is Right Live – On Stage is holding two non-televised shows starting on Monday, September 28, and Tuesday, September 29. Travelling across Canada, the show is stopping in Kelowna for two days, bringing some of the same thrilling iconic games and, of course, everyone’s favourite giant wheel to spin.

Originally airing on CBS in 1972 with host Bob Barker, many people remember the memorable music and audience cheers on TV, and contestants having their names called by the announcer to run down the aisle in excitement after being selected. In 2007, Bob Barker retired and was replaced by Drew Carey, who is still the host today.

Unfortunately, Drew won’t be hosting the live event, but the same energy and vibes of the show will be in the air as the host and staff who put on the event make sure the show feels like the real thing. Audience members and contestants are encouraged to dress up in fun colours or costumes to make the show an even better experience.

The live show will be bringing some of its popular games like Plinko and Cliffhangers and features the same famous set designs as the TV show does. Prizes include appliances, dream vacations, electronics, and even a brand-new car!
