Hundreds of golf balls will take to the sky in Kamloops this weekend as the Chris Rose Therapy Centre for Autism hosts its fifth annual Golf Ball Drop.
The fundraiser will take place Saturday, October 3, at the Kamloops Golf & Country Club, where numbered golf balls will be dropped onto a designated green with help from Kamloops Fire Rescue.
The goal is simple — the ball that lands closest to the pin will win a major cash prize, while ticket sales will help support programs and services for autistic children, youth and families in the Kamloops community.

The Golf Ball Drop gives community members a chance to support the Chris Rose Therapy Centre for Autism while also having the opportunity to win.
Tickets are $20 each, with every ticket corresponding to a numbered golf ball that will be part of the drop.
The event has become an annual fundraiser for the centre, bringing together community members and supporters for an afternoon that combines fundraising with a little friendly competition.
Tickets are available until one hour before the ball drop, so people can still purchase one before the event begins.
The fundraiser will begin at 1 pm at the Kamloops Golf & Country Club, located at 3125 Tranquille Rd.
Money raised through the event will go toward programs and services offered by the Chris Rose Therapy Centre for Autism.

When: Saturday, October 3, 2026
